GRAND OPENING of the Reeves Center Japanese Tearoom

On Saturday, February 3, we will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Reeves Center Japanese Tearoom on the Washington and Lee University campus.  As part of the Tea Gala, a tea ceremony open to the public will be held from 9-12.  The public is invited to come for a Japanese sweet and bowl of whisked tea.  Tea Masters Larry Tiscornia of San Francisco and Glenn Pereira of Boston will join W&L students in hosting the event.  There will be four seatings beginning at 9:00, 9:45, 10:30 and 11:15.  Please R.S.V.P. by calling 458-8746 to reserve a place at one of the four seatings.  This is free and open to people of all ages.  For more information about the Japanese art of tea known as chanoyu, please visit the website:  http://tearoom.wlu.edu
